The Super Surplus Insurance Policy is a top-up health insurance plan providing enhanced coverage with two plan options: Gold Plan and Silver Plan. It covers individuals and families with comprehensive benefits for hospitalization, treatments, and wellness.

Eligibility

  • Age 18 to 65 years for new entrants (renewals allowed beyond 65)
  • Economically dependent children (91 days to 25 years) covered with parents
  • Family includes self, spouse, and up to 3 dependent children
  • No pre-acceptance medical screening needed; past medical records required

Policy Term & Payment

  • Policy terms of 1 or 2 years (5% discount on 2-year term)
  • Premium payment options: Annual, Biennial, Half-yearly, Quarterly

Plans

Gold Plan

  • Sum insured options from Rs. 5 lakhs to Rs. 1 crore
  • Coverage begins after exceeding a defined limit on hospitalization expenses
  • Includes room rent, surgeon and ICU charges, ambulance and air ambulance, delivery, organ donor expenses, modern treatments, and AYUSH coverage
  • Includes pre and post-hospitalization expenses (60 and 90 days, respectively)
  • Unique features like E-Medical Opinion and Recharge Benefit for additional indemnity

Silver Plan

  • Sum insured options from Rs. 25 lakhs to Rs. 1 crore
  • Deductible per hospitalization to activate coverage
  • Covers room rent up to Rs. 4,000/day, surgeon fees, diagnostics, pre and post-hospitalization expenses (30 and 60 days)
  • Includes modern and AYUSH treatments
  • Covers day care procedures with no minimum hospitalization period

Claim Process

Renewals & Cancellations

  • Renewable except in cases of fraud or misrepresentation
  • 30-day grace period for renewal, no coverage during grace period
  • Policyholder can cancel with notice; refund applicable if no claims
  • Company can cancel on valid grounds with prior notice
